Enjoying Birthday Dinner for Opa Carastian in Aying. Ayinger is on the one hand a GREAT brewery, just outside of munich, the family is one biiiig brewing dynasty in Bavaria (Augustiner in Munich? yep. Inselkammer. Tucher in Nürnberg? you guessed it, but Ayinger Bier - to Mr. Carastian is there in the Olympus of brewing). On the other hand, Mrs. Inselkammer runs a fantastic high quality Bavarian Restaurant (Michelin, Gault Miliau you name it). where we had the party. This beer is a Pils, hints of bitter, yet smooth and wonderful. (did I mention that they feature a Beer sommelier? yes they do).
