Every once in a blue moon (like every five years) I’ll get this dish from somewhere and idk why I can’t remember that it’s not for me. The chicken is basically just fried chicken like you’d get in many American Chinese dishes and the sauce the shrimp comes in is not for me. I truly hope to one day find a place that’s like “nah nah your average joint just does it wrong let us show you” and they blow me away. Until then I remain skeptical.
