Fish itself was nice and the chips were fluffy in the middle. Plus garden peas are yummy and portion size was pretty good, if on the large side though not compared to some places! Unfortunately the batter was too greasy and dry, definitely seemed like it had been in for too long, and there was a lot on there. Also never had this happen that I got a mouthful of scales near the end of my meal. But they're usually good here and otherwise it was nice #pub #gastropub #pescatarian #fish
