‘Ball’ here refers to boneless chicken drumstick. It’s still very much a whole piece of chicken, not a processed meat ball at all. There’s no crunch here as the chicken has been completely coated in that luscious salted egg sauce but that’s fine by me. Some cili padi in that sauce would have made it even better!
