AMAZING
1st MEAT AND THREE
Rising Son, Avondale Estates
Fond memories of school lunch. Choice of (fried or grilled) chicken, shrimp or fish, and 1, 2 or 3 veggies. Mine: fried chicken, green beans, collards, sweet potatoes, cornbread. Good and filling southern lunch. #atlchowhound #howdoyoufood #eatwithme #myfoodchain #travel4food
2nd FRIED CHICKEN
LLoyd's Restaurant & Lounge, Atlanta
You think you've had good fried chicken. So did I. Lightly breaded. Delicately seasoned - I really think it's just a pinch of SnP. And the juiciest, tenderest meat. LLoyd's is doing something supernatural with the brine. Gotta be. Served only on Wednesdays with 2 sides and a biscuit made by somebody's grandma in the back. #atlchowhound #howdoyoufood #eatwithme #myfoodchain #shareable
3rd FRIED CHICKEN
JCT. Kitchen & Bar, Atlanta
Juicy, tender but not a crunchy breading. I'm ok with that because it wasn't greasy. Even the fatty thigh was juicy but not greasy. And the collards greens - vinegary, sweet, tender and drinkable potlikker. Loved it twice. #atlchowhound #atleats #howdoyoufood #eathere #eatwithme
4th MOMOFUKU STYLE RED BIRD CHICKEN
Stanley Hotel, Estes Park
Red bird chicken is a Colorado local, free-range bird. The crispy skin and sweet (not too much) mirin vinaigrette makes this dish outstanding. The meat was juicy and succulent. I must learn Momofuku style. #atlchowhound #howdoyoufood #eathere #eathere
