REALLY GOOD
2nd PORK BELLY ROAST
Coach & Horses Pub, Kew, London
Great composition of meal, lots of nice sauce though wished there was crackling. Some of the best Yorkshire pudding I’ve ever had
PRETTY GOOD
3rd TRIO OF ROASTS
Gordon Arms - Pub & Grill, Peterborough
Weird composition with pancetta being served instead of pork roast, the chicken was essentially tasteless, beef good, and everything drowned in gravy. Yet it worked well together 👌🏽
4th SUNDAY ROAST BEEF
Knowles of Norwood, London
Proper good and tasty beef and you get three slices!! Otherwise poor Yorkshire pudding again ruining the dish..
6th ALL IN
Blacklock Shoreditch, London
Only memorable for how it looks, not its taste. Seems bigger than it is, this one is split for 2 and Yorkshire puddings take big space (biggest I've seen!). I would probably go with the beef only if I had to come back, which I don't think so.. wasn't worth the 20£ but service was excellent 👍🏽
7th CARVERY
The Farmers Carvery & Grill, Yaxley
Proper buffet; A bit hit and miss with some of the ingredients, meat was tender though some dry, swedes nice
JUST OK
8th ROAST BEEF
Kew Gardens Hotel, Richmond
It’s decent but beef full of sinew, portion size should have been bigger for 20£+. Not a fan of the Christmas (cinnamon) cabbage
9th SUNDAY ROAST (PORK)
Knowles of Norwood, London
Yorkshire pudding is still like a dough, and the pork crackling is weirdly served on the side. Otherwise good composition of dish, and nice with lots of veggies
NOT FOR ME
10th SUNDAY ROAST BEEF
The Plough Inn, London
It’s barely passable, really tough and bland beef. We sent it back. Go for the pork or something else like the fish and chips 👍🏽
