REALLY GOOD
1st SEAFOOD PAELLA
ROBINSON Club Esquinzo Playa, Esquinzo
A little sneak peak into the surprisingly gourmet buffet world of this club. Why surprisingly? Because if fully booked about 1000 people are staying here and yet the food was great. This Paella might not be the bestest the Carstians had (this might have been the Hinterland of Valencia when attending Benicassim Festival a couple of years ago) but pretty great for the location. A pan, about 1.5 meters (4 feet) diameter, filled with rice, plump (though overcooked) shrimp, chicken, veggies, mussels. what a great first evening on our trip.
NOT FOR ME
2nd SEAFOOD PAELLA
Besitos Karlsruhe, Karlsruhe
Almost hesitant to post this shot lest someone else see it and think, "Hey! That doesn't look too bad!" because it was, dear FSers, VERY bad. Cesar & Coronaburg would rampage and burn down the establishment for serving this horrid abomination. You could do better buying a bag of the frozen crap, thawing it in the microwave and throwing a free bits of seafood and chicken on it. Oh wait... that's what THEY did.
