little C demanded Belgium Waffles... and Eagle Cafe delivered strawberry pancakes - inside and out- right before their noon change to the lunch menu. fluffy, gigantic things with a hint of vanilla. Served with loads of fresh strawberries and syrup.

or as they say on the menu - large buttermilk pancakes. the size of plate, fluffy, with coconut syrup (Delish!) and maple syrup on the side. topped with fresh strawberries. Very tasty and at 14.50 for the usual Hana monopoly price ;-)

Not only the coffee is good but the eggsellent breakfast menu as well. That man knows how to whip out a great meal! These are his fluffy, big as a plate blueberry pancakes. Golden brown and delicious!

Alpenhof in Westerbuchberg offered two of these classic desserts - this one with cherries. Better than the second, IMHO.

From the Alpenhof in Westerbuchberg we have a classic Kaiserschmarrn. Little C (who went with us to this epic eating event!) actually really liked it. it was ok, but not stellar.
