REALLY GOOD
1st LOBSTER PASTA
Fish Market Restaurant, Alexandria
The missus was still on the Lobster bender. This rich, creamy pasta had about six claws worth of meat in it, with a white wine rose sauce. Yummers!
2nd SPAGHETTI ALLA COZZE
Don Pasquale, Rosenheim
This dish was advertised as spaghetti cozze and gambas but arrived WITHOUT a shrimp in sight. Sad. Pasta was cooked well, plenty cozze (mussels) but a surprisingly bland white wine sauce. Not a hint of spice or herbs. Mr. C not happy.
3rd TAGLIOLINI VONGOLE
Jamie's Italian Angel, London
Mrs. C happily slurped up these tiny band noodles and delicious baby clams - all with a very good dose of spiciness. The half portion size was perfect... left you wanting more instead of leaning back with a button popping.
4th KING PRAWN LINGUINE
Zizzi, London
A very tasty dish of well cooked linguine, big old juicy prawns and some spicy tomato and lobster sauce... what's not to like?!
