It was exciting to try something completely new! Crocodile tastes like a fish and chicken hybrid. Although I am unfamiliar with the meat, it was not cooked consistently - few parts were tender while the rest was chewy and over cooked. Flavour-wise the dish was underwhelming lacking basic seasoning. I would definitely try crocodile again if I had the chance, although not from Shaka Zulu unfortunately. On the bright side, the dish and sides are presented nicely and the decorations in the restaurant and the surprising features on the menu make it an interesting place to dine.
