This was surprisingly the best Schnitzel we ate in Vienna. Update: Ever! We returned with a group of discerning foodies a year later and it was still the best we’ve ever tasted.

Well this was a complete surprise. A huge portion of melt in your mouth schnitzel. We didn’t expect it to be this good! But stingy on the potato salad and lemon side, I could have eaten another portion of schnitzel.

The best so far outside Vienna!

Oyster mushroom schnitzel crumbed in gluten free cornmeal with warm potato salad and pickled cucumbers slices. Served with lemon wedge and redcurrant sauce. So crispy, fleshy and very, very good. Great place to come for meat and plant based eating schnitzel fans. €16.50

You know, just in case you don’t have much of an appetite lol.

When I was sick my bf came home with this! Yes A giant schnitzel with fried potatoes which I had to reheat because though the take out boxes were quite large and fancy they didn't hold in much heat... Nonetheless it heated up really well.

So large even Mark couldn’t finish it.

I felt guilty ordering this considering I was at the spa!

Unfortunately the breading was such that it broke away from the meat and was a tad on the greasy side. €31. It is huge, maybe it was just this schnitzel that had a breading crisis lol. One would hope.

Massive portion. Average, the breaded coating was a tad over fried for my liking.

Much better than hospital food!
