AMAZING
1st BRISKET
Matt's BBQ, Portland
Served with lean and moist. The moist is decadent and the lean is juicy as well. That's an amazing accomplishment
2nd BEEF BRISKET
Swinging Door BBQ, Los Angeles
The 2nd photo is of the moist brisket. Number 1 brisket for us! The 1st picture is the lean brisket. While it is not as decadent as the fattier version, it is still perfectly tender.
3rd BRISKET
Barrel and Ashes, Los Angeles
Still their best meat. The small portion can feed two people, but I can make room for it all by myself if I had to. 😉
3rd BRISKET
Barrel and Ashes, Los Angeles
1/2 #. Everyone loved this!
3rd BRISKET
Barrel and Ashes, Los Angeles
When I told my husband we had to eat BBQ today, he insisted that we return to Barrel and Ashes. The brisket is their best bbq offering. #BBQ
4th HOT OPEN FACED BRISKET SANDWICH
Brent's Deli Northridge, Los Angeles
Brisket over egg bread covered in a ton of gravy! Served with mashed potatoes. My son loved it!
7th BBQ BRISKET SANDWICH
Julian Beer Co., Julian
This is an interesting take on a brisket sandwich with a housemade cheese sauce and raw white onions. It is a huge sandwich and it is very good.
9th BEEF BRISKET SANDWICH
The Bear Pit Bar-B-Q Restaurant, Los Angeles
Nice light smokiness. Lean meat wasn't as good as "moist". Needed more sauce and then the bun fell apart.
10th SMOKEHOUSE BRISKET SANDWICH
Arby's, Los Angeles
Smoked brisket, smoked Gouda, crispy onion strings, mayo and smokey BBQ sauce on a toasted bun. The brisket is so thinly sliced that it just eats like a roast beef sandwich. I actually like their roast beef better... Great onion strings though!
11th SMOKED BRISKET
Heritage Barbecue, San Juan Capistrano
Too dry. They used the flat cut (lean). We got one slice of point cut, which was much better, but the rest was a bit tedious to eat.
12th BRISKET
Gus's BBQ, Los Angeles
Served here with jalapeno grits and red beans and rice. It's pretty good but I wouldn't get it again
JUST OK
13th BBQ BRISKET SLIDERS
Red Maple Cafe, Burbank
Three sliders layered with slow roasted brisket tossed in barbecue sauce, house made caramelized onion aioli, house made crispy onions and all served on brioche slider buns. This dish is all about the brisket, and the brisket was hard to chew through.
