Wow! Huge bowl of broth with the most tender lamb you can imagine. I pulled the meat off with a spoon and added the rice pilaf it comes with for a huge and comforting bowl of soup. I need this again in my life!
Braised in Urban Press Merlot and slow cooked for 4 hours. served with Parmesan risotto. The risotto uses a long grain rice and is only pretty good on its own, but it tastes wonderful with the meat and sauce. The lamb is fork tender and delicious.
Last time I had this it was amazing. This time it will served with mashed potatoes, not mushroom risotto, and it was a little gamier. I definitely preferred the risotto.
Braised lamb shank, sauteed rainbow chard and creamy polenta mascarpone. Really well cooked meat (albeit a little gamey) and very good polenta. This was probably my first time eating rainbow chard and I was surprised how good it was! Their treatment was so flavorful. #dinela
