AMAZING
1st LOBSTER ROLL
Broad Street Oyster Company, Malibu
Drive all the way to Malibu, wait in line, pay $25 for one lobster roll... Worth it! Thank God they sell other food to help fill you up so you don't buy four of these for your lunch.
2nd LOBSTER ROLL
Davenport's Restaurant, Los Angeles
Probably the most expensive lobster Roll I've ever had. Perfect toasted bread (thicker than usual) This lobster was MUCH better than the lobster bites. Sweet, buttery and plentiful. It came with 1 1/2 -2# of fries!! They were very good, but it was way too much to eat.
3rd MINI LOBSTER ROLLS
Finney's Crafthouse & Kitchen - Porter Ranch, Los Angeles
I always get Connecticut lobster rolls and I have never had a maine style lobster roll. Connecticut rolls are served with warm lobster drenched in butter. Maine rolls are serve chilled and dressed in mayo. It seems like a no-brainer to me that I would always want the warm buttery version, so I was surprised at how delicious these sliders were! The bread is butter toasted and it's not too heavy. Wonderful on a scorching hot day like today.
5th LOBSTER ROLL
Pike Place Chowder, Seattle
I don't think it's worth the $36 price tag
6th LOBSTER ROLL
Smorgasburg, Los Angeles
Good toasted roll and generous meat, but not the best. The meat was not sweet, so I don't think it was Maine lobster. $20 for this was too much when I can get an excellent lobster roll from the Lobsta Truck for almost half the price.
7th WARM LOBSTER ROLL
EMC Seafood & Raw Bar, Los Angeles
Not the best I've had. You don't want to say that when you drop $23 on a sandwich.
