Plantain chips. Great munching food. I prefer this is an accompaniment to the meats I was trying.

Fried sweet plantains.

Fried Green Plantains with Ropa Vieja (Shredded beef braised in salsa criolla, peppers, onions, and tomatoes) on top. I thought this starter would be a great way to get to try their ropa vieja as well as their tostones without getting a full meal. The tostones were meh, but the beef was pretty good. Definitely for sharing.
