On top of grits with a hammock broth pored over it. These scallops were perfect! Excellent seasoning and searing.

shrimp and saffron rice, peri peri sauce, crispy linguiça. Scallops cooked perfectly.

Nueske bacon, celery root puree, lilikoi beurre blanc. Excellent cook on the scallops. Celery is used 3 ways in this. I don't like celery, but they disguised it masterfully. I didn't even realize that the greens on top were celery!

With mushroom risotto.

This is the starter version?! It's a whole meal with pork and vegetables. Wow. Large and lovely scallops with some heat on the plate (maybe the seasoning?). I would have rated it higher if they had been caramelized.

The scallops were fine, but not anything exceptional. I missed having the caramelization. The rice pilaf seemed like it was straight out of a box and I wasn't going anywhere near the dated mixed vegetables. Overall, just okay.
