PRETTY GOOD
1st MUSHROOM CROQUETTES
The Glass Goose, Auckland
Light and crispy initial bite. The black garlic gravy was a welcome rich and smooth companion, but not much else shone through. The mushrooms were fine but brought little to the table. The edamame past was even more lackluster and on the verge of flavorless, but it did add a bit of color. This seems to have been made by an owner that knows how to construct a menu, but a chef that doesn’t know how to excite.
