AMAZING
1st SEASONAL APERITIF
Hillside Kitchen, Wellington
It was blueberry with gin, soda water and a bit of elderflower syrup. Loved it!
REALLY GOOD
2nd SUZE, EAST IMPERIAL YUZU TONIC, ANGOSTURA
Bar Magda, Auckland
Checking out this new bar restaurant in town. I don’t think I’ve tried Suze before. The slice of fennel worked really well.
3rd REID AND REID MARTINBOROUGH CUP
Ortega, Wellington
It’s my first time to try this and I enjoyed it. I think I’ll get a bottle. This is the description from the website: Martinborough Cup is a modern take on a traditional punch. Made from our Rev. Dawson's gin, red and dry vermouth and 6 extra botanicals (bay leaf, black tea, manuka leaf, orange zest, nutmeg and rose petals). This refreshing mixer is a kiwi take on an English classic and is perfect with lemonade, ginger ale or tonic - serve with plenty of ice and orange garnish.
