Okay... I did the touristy thing and went to Tian Tian at Maxwell Food Centre. Luckily the line wasn't that long. We ordered the larger order and shared. Their chicken rice is better that Kao Man Gai at home, but not by much. I heard that there is another stall at Maxwell that the locals like too.

Poached chicken with rice simmered in chicken stock & Thai herbs, served with a sauce of fermented soybeans, fresh hand peeled garlic, Thai chilies, vinegar, house made syrup & soy sauce. Accompanied by a light soup (house made organic broth). NUMMY-NESS!!!

Portion size is excellent. The chicken was perfect. The rice has plenty of chicken flavoring too.

This is one of my favs here at Pho Van.

It's been a while since I've ordered their chicken and rice. It was delicious and the portion was perfect for lunch.
