I really like the pho at Pho Van. I ordered this in a regular size... they also serve a larger portion for those with a heartier appetite.

With beef round steak & flank.

This was my wife's order of pho. Pho.com bowl includes cuts of round steak, flank, meat ball. The serving is generous. Plenty of rice noodles, and the broth tasted excellent.

This bowl of pho is packed with lots of beefy-ness... house made meatball, sliced eye of round, brisket, tendon, and tripe. All swimming in a lemon grass beef broth. The noodles were average and serving size fair.

I've had pho plenty of times before, but never as a takeout item. Bamboo house did a good job with the packaging. And all of the ingredients were fresh. Still, it was not the same as when it is served at the restaurant. I figured out that I need larger bowls at home.

Thien Hoang's serving is fair for the price. The ratio of noodle to meat was well balanced. The broth is very tasty.

Stopped in at Pho 75 while visiting Washington DC. It was just down the street from where I was staying. This was a regular sized bowl with fatty brisket and round steak. It was okay. The soup tasted fine and the serving of beef and noodles was decent.
