Güero's version of a Jaliscan classic. Carlton farms pork, habanero slaw, cilantro on grilled bolillo. Topped with anchiote tomato sauce. Yummy and messy.

You'll find this on Guëro's list of tortas. The toasted telera is filled with roasted achiote marinated chicken, avocado, pickled onion, cilantro, lettuce, lime mayo. The telera was crispy and soft, and there was so much tasty chicken. This made for a yummy lunch.

Bread is excellent and the meat ratio to the rest of the torta is good. A very filling lunch.

At El Brasero, you get to select the meat, so I chose Al Pastor. It is stuffed with refried beans, cheese, slices of tomato & onions, avocado, pickled jalapenos, lettuce and chipotle mayo. This torta is SUPER SIZED. I could not (should not) finish it in one sitting. It was spicy too from all of the jalapenos they added 👍🏻. The bread was just about perfect.

I ordered this with Al Pastor pork. The bread was fresh and soft. The proportion of pork vs all other ingredients was good enough to make my mouth happy.
