Another visit to Gum Kuo in #chinatownoakland this time for breakfast. They have so many flavours of #riceporridge I couldn’t possibly choose, so I went for the special that has pretty much everything in it! A total winner, if you like that sort of thing, and I do. From huge prawns to these fantastic pork meatballs, sliced liver, scallops, century egg and various mushrooms, the #pigsear was my favourite 👍😃

Even the Chinese gentlemen on the next table said the congee here is no good, he was also trying to tell me where I would find a good one, but I sadly didn’t understand enough Chinese (or none at all) to comprehend.
