AMAZING
1st SESAME NOODLES
Din Tai Fung, Glendale
Peanut butter flavors with a fair amount of heat. They are addictive.
2nd SESAME NOODLES
Din Tai Fung, USA
A dreamy dish that is tossed at the table and devoured by the guests. There’s heat and a warm, creamy sesame sauce that’s so memorable.
3rd GARLIC NOODLES
At Siam Night Market, Los Angeles
This Thai open air market just opened a week ago. It’s on Cahuenga just north of Hollywood Blvd. It is open on Friday, Saturday & Sunday beginning at 5 pm. My husband and I are so excited! We had one of the best garlic noodles ever and are thrilled to have all these choices close by.
6th PAD THAI
It's Pho, Los Angeles
Take-out from our neighborhood
7th CHOW MEIN WITH TERIYAKI CHICKEN & HONEY WALNUT SHRIMP
Panda Express, Los Angeles
A pretty standard order for my husband & I to share. We’re able to walk a short distance & quiet our hunger pangs on the walk home.
12th BUN
It's Pho, Los Angeles
Love bun with any protein. This one had chicken, greens & noodles.
12th BUN
It's Pho, Los Angeles
This is a staple in Vietnamese restaurants & although it’s a decent version there are extraordinary versions in other parts of Los Angeles. That being said, I can walk to this place & still enjoy a decent dish. Bun refers to cold Vietnamese vermicelli noodles served with grilled pork, lemongrass beef or chicken, fresh herbs, pickled vegetables, roasted peanuts & fish sauce. The cha gio or egg rolls served at other Vietnamese restaurants are some of my favorites on the planet. The Vietnamese coffee is not photographed, but was quite delicious.
