Haven’t had this in years and it sure tasted good. Warm, fluffy matzo ball with shredded chicken and sliced carrots in a chicken broth.

French onion soup can be spectacular to awful when the appearance, taste, unctuousness and cheese are off. This version hit all the right spots!

French onion soup is available everywhere these days. On a scale of one to 10 I’d give this version a 4. The cheese wasn’t browned enough and the bread needed toasting.
