Was so excited when I found out there was a Saravanaa Bhavan in KL, as I had my favourite meal in India from there. We both got the special thali with rice, pooris, poppadoms, curries, pickles, chutneys, sambar, raita, yoghurt and a sweet 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Had one of the best Indian meals of my life last night, why did I wait so long to go to mint and mustard!? Me and my mum shared raw mango curry, five spice paneer masala, saag aloo, chickpeas olan, pilau rice, garlic naan and poppadums and pickles.

Okay so this pad Thai isn’t mine, jen got it, I got the mushroom massaman curry in the last photo which was INSANE. We also got cauliflower wings to share and it was all super super delicious AND vegan and we wanna go back.

Did a lush cooking lesson this morning at Matey Hut, we learnt to make eight (!) curries (pumpkin, banana, okra, dhal, aubergine, beetroot, pineapple and coconut sambol) and poppadoms and coconut rotti. Can’t wait to make them all when I get home 🏠

Yes I had another thali and yes it was delicious. This was the madras thali from Bakti Woodlands and this one came with chappati, poppadom, two types of rice, curries, pickle, chutneys and a sweet.

For dinner we went to this cool place that does twists on Laos classics. Jen had green curry with gnocchi which was really cool, we shared mango summer rolls and then I had the red pumpkin curry. It was delicious but could have done with a little more innovation I think.
