REALLY GOOD
1st TONKOTSU RAMEN
Bao To The Broth, Hereford
Overall a good bowl of Tonkotsu ramen, broth was perfectly warming with that fatty aspect from the pork. The pork itself was more crispy than usual chashu, more like a chicharrón. Only real negative was the noodles themselves, didn’t seem as fresh and homemade as they could be with the noodles not exactly retaining the fatty, porky flavour. #Foodreview #Japanesefood
2nd SHOYU RAMEN
Little Tokyo, Swansea
For a small establishment, the food is amazing. The shoyu ramen had a smooth, delicate soy broth paired really nicely with the noodles which were cooked very well. Along with this I ordered Takoyaki made fresh, this is the best Takoyaki I have had due to the batter and tenderness of the octopus, highly recommend it if you come here and have an open mind. #japanesefood #ramen #review
PRETTY GOOD
3rd RAMEN
The Front, Port Talbot
Believe it or not, this was actually a bowl of ramen, the whole vibe to this place was amazing with it being unlike any place I have been to before. It had a lot of the components of ramen such as the meat, noodles, broth and even an egg just arranged and cooked differently with other unique added ingredients. Although the beef was incredibly tender, the broth nice and flavourful and the noodles very bouncy, I’d still much rather a traditional bowl of ramen. Overall a good experience for what it was, plenty of it and would probably order again. #Foodreview #Ramen
4th BEEF RAMEN
Sushi Life Whitchurch, Cardiff
A unique bowl of beef ramen. The highlight was definitely the soup itself, savoury and spicy which paired nicely with the masses of crunchy veggies. Overall, the beef was a little tough and dry and could have dialled back in the assortment of the vegetables. Still a flavourful bowl of ramen. #Foodreview #Ramen
