2nd CRAB CAKE BENEDICT
Hashes & Brews, San Bruno
So good. Hollandaise was delicious and they use CRAB not imitation KRAB (🤣).
3rd SMOKED SALMON BENEDICT
Bay Watch Burlingame, Burlingame
I enjoyed this a LOT! On of the few times in a year we've dined in. Restaurants are still at limited capacity and the only reason we dined in was because outside seating seemed so packed and inside was empty. Smoked salmon, red onions, spinach, sliced tomatoes, and capers.
4th BOMBSHELTER BACON BENNY
Squeeze In, Redwood City
English muffin topped with crispy bacon, mushrooms sautéed in wine sauce, three hand-shelled poached eggs, Hollandaise and avocado slices on top. This was my favorite of the 2 in Benny on the Fence. In 2010 the Squeeze In was selected to be featured on “Throwdown with Bobby Flay” on the Food Network.
5th BENNY ON THE FENCE
Squeeze In, Redwood City
Mix and match any 2 Bennys. Fantastic concept for those who can't decide. In 2010 the Squeeze In was selected to be featured on “Throwdown with Bobby Flay” on the Food Network.
6th FRIED CHICKEN BENEDICT
Hashes & Brews, San Bruno
Fried chicken with bacon on top of a biscuit. Their hollandaise sauce is amazing! I'll be back.
7th IRISH EGGS BENEDICT
Peter's Cafe, Millbrae
With a side of hash browns....instead of Canadian bacon, they used corned beef hash. One of my breakfast choices always.
REALLY GOOD
8th HASH BENEDICT
Millbrae Pancake House, Millbrae
Cored beef hash Benedict. Life is good.
9th RIGO'S SPANISH BENEDICT
Squeeze In, Redwood City
English muffin topped with Spanish chorizo, three poached eggs and Hollandaise
