3rd CALAMARI FRITTI
Andrew's Bar and Restaurant, San ĠiljanCrispy fried calamari, served with a slice of lemon, tartare sauce and rucola. I ordered the starter portion to share between two, but they also do a main course portion. It was the perfect size portion to share with a main, as it wasn’t too filling but very satisfying. The calamari was gorgeously soft and pretty much melted in my mouth and the fried coating wasn’t too heavy or oily. The tartare sauce was also delicious, although slightly garlicky, which wasn’t a problem for me.
