Make no mistake, there is no prawn in this durian. This particular variety is named red prawn as the flesh can appear reddish like cooked prawns. It has a bittersweet taste, though not as pungent or creamy as the famed Mao Shan wang.

From the peak of the durian season a few weeks ago. Thick creamy & bittersweet flesh. So deserving of the King of Fruit title.
