Brilliant breakfast stop. The absolute star was the squidgy looking red one; a sabidona mostarda alchermes, a fabulously light concoction containing pear and quince jam and soaked in grape must. If I could get my hands on these in the UK it would be heaven.

Signature dish of the pasticceria , light with a creamy filling but the almond flavour wasn’t very pronounced as I’d expected

Probably would have been better to have my first Greek pastry elsewhere , traditional with semolina cream filling. This chain version was pretty average
