I LIVE for macaroni pies. For some reason, they don't seem to exist in London (if someone has seen them here please tell me!) Anyway so because they came from Scotland, and we reheated in the oven, they weren't the freshest but still the pastry was flaky and the sauce was good and cheesy and it filled me with nostalgic comfort and tastiness! NB. I've listed it as vegetarian but as people sometimes put lard in pastry, if you're a strict vegetarian, I recommend double checking the recipe before purchase.

Good size, pasta was big too and cheesiness was good. Crust was lovely and buttery. Just didn't give it 'top marks' as the pastry was a little bit soft and while I dont mind when the cheese is crunchy on the top, it was maybe a bit too much. But realistically, i would get on a plane for it.

Nice and soft on the inside. Good size portion to share; you get 4 quite big ones. They're not all really full. Pastry on some are a little thick but were better on others. Yummy. #cheese #sambousek #cheesepies #mezze #deliveroo
