REALLY GOOD
1st EGGS BENEDICT WITH MUSHROOM
Cafe Zee, London
Not too much sauce. Mushrooms were really good. Bread (sourdough) was a bit hard to eat as was so tough. Taste wise very good. Cost about £9 I think, which I think is a bit too much.
2nd BUTTERNUT SHAKSHUKA BENEDICT
Breakfast Club Spitalfields, London
This is a halt portion. 1 waffle, 2 eggs and shakshuka, hollandaise, greek yogurt and apparently avocado. It was a very wet meal, everything was mixed in together. Didn't mind but it meant I didn't really notice the avocado or the yogurt much. Maybe would be better with a bit less hollandaise? Generous portion, especially as it was a half portion! Nice, gentle spice from the shakshuka, creamy and the waffle was nice but I think I would have preferred it on the side for dipping as it was completely covered in all the sauciness. Enjoyed it.
