REALLY GOOD
1st BAK KUT TEH

Glad I had the option to order a specific cut (in this case, soft rib bone) because all too often, I struggle with the tougher and boar tainty cuts. These were devoid of either and the broth was aromatic without suffering from peppercorn overkill. Accompanied by the requisite Yao Cha Kuih (dough fritters), Pork Meat Balls and Onion Rice.

It doesn’t remind me of the brothy version of bak kut teh even if I tried to imagine a more concentrated version of the broth. It just tastes like a completely different dish (nevermind the difference in protein type).
7th SIGNATURE BAK KUT TEH 招牌肉骨茶
Ya Hua Bak Kut Teh, Singapore
It’s Prime Cut Rib (supposedly) in a peppery, salty and otherwise flavorless soup. Not forking out $11 for this again.
