Offloaded a bunch of stale crusty bread with this substantial one dish wonder, which now leaves me wondering if the way the cheese melts reminds me of cobwebs or astrocytes? Ok, I see astrocytes. 🌌

Managed to dispose of a box of homemade breadcrumbs into this tasty, creamy, mushroomy (yet not anything like Campbells COM) casserole, although it meant buying a lot of mushrooms.

I dare say this was better than what Boston Market actually doles out!

Finally got to cook them leeks.

Home cooked birthday dinner for my friend at her aunt’s.

It was probably the corn niblets (which looked kind of dry (and old?) when I shucked the cobs) and the choice of salt (table over kosher) that made this rather dry and oversalted. I may or may not do it again.
