Fresh flesh but the ROI was very low for the amount of work required to excavate it from the shells.

The crab itself was very good but I’m not sure it was best showcased with this style of cooking.

I didn’t really know what to make of this, but it was my first time eating horsehair crab. It was also my first time experiencing one from Hakodate.

Have had better elsewhere.

This is the resto’s signature dish and really what they’re famous for. At least since 1969. Surprisingly, everyone at the table who had it this evening thought they’d had better elsewhere. 😳 It was very spicy and the flavors didn’t quite agree with us.
