REALLY GOOD
1st PANDAN TART ้ฆ™่˜ญๆ’ป
Tai Cheong Bakery (Holland Village), Singapore
Pastry - buttery short crust ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Custard - fragrant, tasty, different ๐Ÿ‘
2nd EGG TARTS ็š‡็‰Œ่›‹ๆ’ป
Tai Cheong Bakery, Singapore
Long lines to this stall with a tart bouncer to boot. A half hour wait and some me-time later to quietly indulge in a tart confirms why: the buttery short crust pastry and custardy filling put these tarts in a class of their own, above so many others I've had.
PRETTY GOOD
3rd ORIENTAL EGG TARTS ๅŽ้˜ณๆ‹›็‰Œ้…ฅ็šฎ่›‹ๆŒž
Oriental Kopi @ Bandar Puteri ๅŽ้˜ณ, Puchong
BRIEF:โ€œThe "Oriental Egg Tart" was produced after years of refinement, giving the perfect colour, aroma and taste. Freshly handmade daily, Baked at high temperature, "Oriental Egg Tart" becomes flaky and crispy. Accompanied by golden colour caramelised egg filling, it's permeated with a rich egg fragrance, bringing out a sweet but not greasy, crispy and full-flavoured taste!โ€ SOOTโ€™S TAKE: Enjoyed the custard but I think Iโ€™m more of a short crust pastry kind of person.
