Gin. Elderflower Liqueur. Lime

Virtually 3 years on, I’m seeing SIA has posted a recipe for its eponymous cocktail and there’s no way I’m not trying it at home! It’s 1 part OJ, 1/2 part gin, 1 part pineapple juice, 1/2 part orange liqueur, topped with champagne. 🍍🍊

“Brass Lion Singapore Dry Gin, Lemongrass, Pandon, Ginger, Soda, Mint, Dehydrated Lime” My favorite of the concoctions I chose to sample today, and this came from BRASS LION, a homegrown distillery. It was botanical without overwhelming and altogether refreshing.

Warm days call for one and it’s been probably at least 4 years since I had one.

Compliments of Andrew, bartender of da night. It had Distillery 78 ̊ (Adelaide Hills), indian tonic, jalapeños and god knows what else. It was very perfumey but the ice eventually diluted that out with the jalapeños giving it a mild kick.

From CIN CIN (a local gin boutique bar): A pretty drink, courtesy of the iridescent swirls created by adding what might be luster dust (based on bartender’s description) to KYRÖ NAPUE GIN (a Finnish small batch rye gin), and then mixing that with apple mint mix and East Imperial soda water. Definitely perfect for a blue sky day.
