I’d always been curious about these but just balked at the prospect of paying 6 SGD for 4-5 balls at pasar malams (seasonal night markets) in Singapore. So when the opportunity to try 8 (but smaller?) balls for RM 7.80 presented itself today, I bit. Freshly-fried, they’re crispy on the outside and chewy inside with just the right amount of sweetness.

An oldie but always a goodie. I like the addition of cornflakes to the topping.
