AMAZING
1st CHOCOLATE ZUCCHINI BREAD
Upshot Coffee Brake Shop, Saint Charles
This should actually be called cake, not bread because it’s the most dense, moist and delicious Chocolate zucchini bread I’ve ever had. I need a loaf of this! 🤣
2nd BREAD SERVICE
Bambinos Cafe on Delmar, Springfield
So as soon as you exit your car you smell garlic. It’s a strong garlic smell and it really gets those juices flowing. And, this is the reason why. Bread service is served with a heaping mound of freshly grated garlic for you to mix with your own concoction of olive oil, balsamic, and Parmesan cheese and I also add black pepper to dip their soft on the inside & crusty on the outside Italian bread into... so awesome.
REALLY GOOD
3rd UBE ENSAMADA
Saint Louis Filipino Bread, Maryland Heights
Wow. Soft, slightly sweet and buttery. I’m so happy I found this Filipino bakery and can explore their wonderful baked goods! They include baking directions to heat in the oven but I just threw it in the air fryer for 2 minutes at 390° and that was perfect.
4th MANHATTAN CLAM CHOWDER BREAD
Girl & The Goat, Chicago
When mixing the two condiments onto the bread, it evokes the taste of Manhattan clam chowder.
6th CHALLAH
Breadsmith, Kirkwood
Super soft and rich challah bread.
7th WOOD-FIRED BREAD
Katie's Pizza & Pasta, St. Louis
Really good with a nice charred flavor and a chewy texture.
PRETTY GOOD
8th PANEER KULCHA
Copper Chimney - Indian Restaurant & Bar, St. Peters
Paneer Kulcha Naan stuffed with homemade cheese and onions
9th BREAD SERVICE
Babbo's Spaghetteria, Chesterfield
Good bread, just wish it was warm.
