Heaven on earth

Poppyseed bagel & the sweetest, most delicately flavored hand cut lox. I'm in heaven! Any time I'm anywhere near Clayton my car just veers toward Protzel's!

Egg white, Swiss cheese, and crispy bacon on a soft, fresh pretzel bun.

A nice medium rare steak, runny egg, bacon jam, and melted brie. I can’t do Brie, so I substituted for Swiss cheese. This was really good.

Hot & fresh.

My guilty pleasure is a McDonald’s breakfast sando #on a weekday morning. This one was picture perfect.

Decent breakfast sandwich, but wouldn’t order again. The French toast was a bit soggy and the sausage was not browned, so probably microwaved. It looks great, but was kind of bland.

This is a cute kosher deli and grocery store. The owners and employees are super friendly and accommodating. They have a small Sunday breakfast buffet that I went to try. You seat yourself & serve yourself, then just let the cashier know you had the buffet. There were bagels, lox, tomatoes, onion & cucumber, cream cheese, scrambled eggs, potatoes and cherry blintzes. It was pretty good, but not outstanding.

I tried the sandwich on someone’s recommendation that it was amazing. It doesn’t come anywhere near McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches. Oh well.

Adequate breakfast. I just love pretzel buns!
