20th LEMON BAR WITH BLUEBERRY COMPOTE

I like a more tart lemon bsr, especially as a counterpoint to a sweet compote. This was sweet on sweet.
JUST OK
21st AVOCADO MOUSSE
Tree House Restaurant, St. Louis
The dessert that brought the evening to a screeching halt. PSA: Servers & Chefs, when a patron tells ALL of you personally about her peanut allergy and then checks again before she takes a bite. You should have re-thought that drizzle of peanut butter you put under the strawberry garnish of the "peanut-free" avocado mousse. :/
NOT FOR ME
22nd VEGETARIAN APPLE STRUEDEL, CARROT CAKE & AVOCADO CHOCOLATE MOUSSE
Tree House Restaurant, St. Louis
I would’ve given a higher rating if they hadn’t messed up my order in s dangerous way. I told the waiter I am allergic to peanuts. I got up and told both chefs (open kitchen) I am allergic to peanuts. I asked if they were peanuts in each plate as it was placed in front of me and was told no. My first bite of strawberry garnish on my avocado mousse tasted like peanut butter. They had put the strawberries in a peanut butter sauce. The weather said it was peanut butter not peanut. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I had to immediately leave and find Benadryl. Won’t be back.
