3rd AHI TUNA POKE SALAD
The Big Island Grill, Springfield
This was amaaaaazing! No lettuce, so really a poke bowl, not a salad. Rice, ahi tuna, tomato, red onion, tobbiko, wakame, seaweed salad, cucumber salad, sushi rice, sesame oil, etc. Just a tad spicy and unforgettable! Yum! This new restaurant in Springfield, MO is a must stop even if you're on your way to Branson or pretty much anywhere else. It's very close to Interstate 44 right on Battlefield Drive and before getting all the way into town.
5th AHI TUNA POKE
Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, O'Fallon
To my knowledge, this is the first poke to make an appearance in a supermarket seafood department in St. Charles County, MO. It's super spicy with toasted sesame chili oil and wakame. I'll definitely buy this again! $7.99/Lb.
6th TUNA POKI STYLE SALAD
Kampai Sushi Bar, St. Louis
Deep flavors while being light at the same time. Heavy on the sesame oil, which overwhelmed the tuna a bit, but still very good. Thank
6th TUNA POKI STYLE SALAD
Kampai Sushi Bar, St. Louis
Not on the menu but the chef readily agreed to make this for me. Super fresh, dressed with sesame oil & honey wasabi sauce. 10/10 only USD$8.00.
7th POKE TACOS
Wasabi Sushi Bar St Charles, Saint Charles
Simple & fresh. A nice taco Tuesday lunch!
PRETTY GOOD
8th TUNA POKE
Crazy Bowls & Wraps, St. Louis
Fresh and good, but not a flavor bomb.
