Capon (rooster meat) is bred specifically for consumption in Croatia and this restaurant specialises in it. This dish is an excellent showcase of slow cooked capon fillets in a flavourful and generous porcini and red wine sauce. There's a sweet, peppery profile of flavours, matched well with a red cabbage stained pearl barley. Wonderful dish.

Buttermilk fried nuggs with a buffalo sauce (blue cheese also provided). Decent and good size but I maintain that tenders are better nuggets all day long! 🐔

On their starter menu as a pate, but with a lighter texture and no liver, I'd say this was a mousse. Creamy and easily spreadable on homemade toasted bread.

Grilled chicken with lemon leaves, with rice. Nothing outstanding but tasty enough.

Good value lunch meal for less than $10 AUD.

Chicken breast strips, with a light dressing served on rocket. Sounds better in Italian but just doesn't excite.
