This weekend was roasting! Maybe not in the weather sense, but definitely in the Sunday lunch sense 🙈(Complimentary Meal: @simpsons1828) A fantastic lunch at the nearly 200 year old Victorian restaurant bustling with suited waiters pushing silver domed carving trollies keeping the lamb and beef cuts warm and succulent. As soon as you arrive the venue will take your breath away, not to mention the stellar service and amazing quality of food. Wine was selected carefully by the sommelier to cater for our palate as well as to compliment our meal. We ordered the baked Orkney King Scallops, Steak Tartare, and lamb and beef roasts with creamed leeks, spinach, roast potatoes, peas and carrots. If you’re in the Portobello area and are craving some seriously fresh sushi and succulent seafood here is the place to go.
