REALLY GOOD
1st POI BANANA MUFFINS
Aunty Nani's Hawaiian Cookies, Honolulu
Naming is deceiving, this is literally a smaller poi banana bread. Found this at the Holiday Crafts & Gifts Fair at N. Blaisdell, was skeptical at first but the uncle at the booth gave me a sample and I got totally hooked! I was only gonna buy a packet but was sooo ono, had two. The thing about 🍌bread is, it usually has walnuts or some sorr, that's perfectly ok w me but the texture tends to be almost always dry, and/or on crumbly side ...ok, it's "bread" so it should be like that? Hmmm🤔 Unlike those, this lil muffins, dense but moist, slightly gooey, and not overly sweet. The secret is definitely poi, but in a good way. I'm a fan now🤙🏽
2nd VEGAN CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFIN
Paris Baguette, Honolulu
Didn't see this at my past visits but I understand why I never did, as this was the last one in the basket...self explanatory after tried this.
3rd VEGAN BLUEBERRY MUFFIN
Paris Baguette, Honolulu
Moist, fruity, and perfect sweetness(vs overly sugary-sweet) unlike others I've previously sampled. So unbelievable this one's plantbased. If you see it, just snatch🤙🏽
4th VEGAN BLUEBERRY MUFFIN
7-Eleven, Honolulu
Another VEGAN muffin from 7-11. Again, this one's not bad at all either! I'd definitely buy this again. Blueberry bits are not overpowering, just right✌🏽
5th VEGAN CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFIN
7-Eleven, Honolulu
Didn't expect vegan muffin that's actually REALLY GOOD esp from somewhere like 7-Eleven? Plan B worked really well✌🏽 Tastes pretty decent, with good portion of chocolate chips👍🏽
JUST OK
6th VEGAN BLUEBERRY MUFFIN
Whole Foods Market, Honolulu
Miss, for some reason, dry & too sweet. If no alternative, this would be OK. Nothing other than that...
