The egg and bacon were extras I ordered. There were lots of lovely elements to this dish - fabulous sourdough toast, nice avocado smash, wonderful egg with rich orange-coloured yolk. This could have been amazing but for that bacon. That bacon which *they* describe as “crispy” in the menu. Crispy it was not. Chewy and lukewarm is more accurate. Totally let the side down.

A pretty dish, but the bacon tasted like it was pre-cooked.
