REALLY GOOD
1st TONKOTSU RAMEN
Momosan Lexington, NY, New York
Ramen really worked for me. Noodles were a good thickness and the broth wasn’t too thick (which is my preference). Saw some of the side dishes through Christian ordering them and they also looked good. Would go back but the other ramens on the menu didn’t seem as intriguing to me so I’d be going back for the same thing.
JUST OK
2nd SHIO RAMEN
Teppen Ramen, New York
The noodles were nice and thin like I like them and the broth was good. The meat was tough and not very tender / juicy. That was the most noticeable and least good part about the meal. There was a lot of shaved green onion which i didn’t really like. I didn’t want to mix them in because I didn’t want to have raw green onion in every bite so I had 5 or so mouthfuls of green Onion to get rid of them (I couldn’t pick them out because they were intertwined with the noodles). Finally, and this is just personal preference, I wish the mushroom were cut up a bit thinner so that I could have less of it per bite and more bites with it.
