1st TAIWANESE SAUSAGE FRIED RICE
886, New YorkTaiwanese Sausage: delicious. Sausage is yummy and kind of sweet only slightly. Fried rice had all the great stuff in it and tasted great. Left nothing to improve on. Really hit the spot and will order again if this is what I’m feeling.
Honey Glazed Popcorn Chicken: amazing. Delicious. Sauce is great. The fried chicken is great. Need to eat again.
Crispy Silken Tofu: trying to like tofu and this was okay. The skin of the tofu was kind of paper ish. The inside of the tofu melted in your mouth quick but the skin would hang around and need to be chewed. Pretty sure this is just tofu though and not the fault of the dish. The dish had good flavored tho.
Dry Beef Noodles: It’s salty so idk if I could have eaten it as my only meal because I would have needed lots of water. The meat chunks are DELICIOUS and melt in your mouth. Really really good.
Lo Ba Beng: my least favourite dish of them all. Still good but not assss flavorful. It would have been good if I hadn’t have tried all the other dishes which I found to be better.
Tian Bu La (Fried Fish Cake): Dave’s pick but good. Not a strong fish taste kind of reminded me of the boxes calamari I used to have as a kid but thicker and with a better sauce.
There were lots of other dishes I saw being served that we didn’t try and that I’d want to next time.
