REALLY GOOD
3rd CHARCUTERIE
Maynards Market & Kitchen, Tucson
Variety of house made terrine and liver mousse served with pickled vegetables, house-made Alsatian mustard, and grilled country toast. The server who brought it gave us the compliments from the chef for ordering these...dunno why? People don’t order charcuterie in Tucson? He said that the chef told him to tell us that he really loves a diner who knows what they’re eating and that we are his kinda people. OK..... Thanks chef! I guess I’m flattered? LOL
4th AFFETTATI MISTI
Osteria Mozza, Los Angeles
Clockwise from left bottom: Capocolo, prosciutto wrapped on grissini, salumi, and duck rillettes. My favorites were capocolo and the prosciutto. Capocolo was delightfully spicy perfect for my tastebuds, and prosciutto wrapped on fantastically crispy grissini was absolutely divine!
PRETTY GOOD
