I only wish this was three times as big. Such soft, perfectly flavoured, amazing octopus.

The texture of this octopus was one of the best I’ve ever had... sooooo soft. Almost like a... firm-ish tofu? Or a soft peach? Not rubbery or chewy AT ALL! Just gloriously almost melt-in-your-mouth loveliness. A joyous, fleeting moment in the mouth before it’s gone, just like that. 😂😂😂 thankfully, there were 8 pieces. The seasoning was great, but I have had better seasoned octopus, which is why this is not at the top. Texture-wise, best. Flavourwise, suuuuper high but not the best. You must try this, either way! 🐙🐙🐙🐙🐙

Amazing carpaccio, with a lovely mild wasabi sauce on top, served on super finely mandolined radish. The octopus is incredibly tender - not rubbery at all. Wish I'd ordered more!!
